Key Responsibilities
Tasks to be performed under this contract
- Attend and participate in mandatory training and assessments.
- Conduct data collection based on need and workload.
- Uphold data collection standards, and accurate handling and management of data according to IOM data protection principles.
- Safely maintain and return all tools, equipment and/or assets provided by IOM for use during the survey (tablets, chargers, sim cards, vests).
- Complete all required forms and documentation i.e. enumerator time sheets, equipment forms etc. within the stipulated timeframes.
- Attend and participate in fieldwork progress meetings and debriefing sessions.
- Support in the preparation of individual reintegration plans
- Support the documentation of AVRR files for further processing
- Participate in handover of beneficiaries’ grants and collect relevant documentation.
- Conduct field visits, as and when necessary
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned

Required Qualifications
Education
- Be enrolled in a university degree program and (preferably at final year) or holder of a university degree, within one year of graduation
Experience
- Persons with proven experience in Kobo data collection for UN agencies, NGOs, public institutions and or private sector.
- Persons with previous experience working with IOM is similar role is preferrable
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Literacy in computer skills (Preferably Microsoft word, Excel)
Languages
- Fluency in English is required (oral and written).
- Knowledge of Krio or another local language is an added advantage.
IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
